UNPOWERED CAMPGROUND…

Gives you the ability to set up anywhere in the designated unpowered camping area. To preserve the serenity and for the comfort of all guests generators are not permitted, so if you wish to have power please select a powered campsite.

POWERED CAMPSITES…

Situated along the front of our camping area, the powered sites are perched on top of the rise allowing you to overlook the billabong and playground. There are 16 sites in all and you will be designated one of these.

LARGE POWERED CAMPSITES…

If your caravan is over 6.5m (21ft) you must book a large powered site.  These sites are also recommended for caravans over 5m (17ft) as they allow your vehicle and van to remain connected.  These sites can also be utilized for large groups with tents, swags, small vans, rooftop tents, etc.

It’s affordable glamping – Roonka style!

Love the idea of camping but not all the packing or setting up the tent? Not only will we set up a beautiful bell tent for you, we’ll throw in four mattresses and your own private table and chair setting.

Perfect for a couple’s getaway or family adventure. Unplug from your devices and reconnect with nature – and each other!

$200 per tent (on a powered site) covers up to 4 people for 2 nights (including activities). Additional nights can be booked at $100 per night. The tent will comfortably fit up to 6 guests, with additional mattresses for additional guests charged at $25 per person per night (no charge for kids under five).

“We really enjoyed our short stay at Roonka in the Bell tent. It was very convenient to have the tent set up and ready for us to bring our bags in. It was very spacious for 5 of us with room to spare. Nice grassy area out the front with a beautiful tree to read under. It is a great location where the children can enjoy the water safely.” Tina, January 2024

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent Roonka Bell Tent stay – it was the perfect short getaway for our family!  We booked the Bell Tent experience because we love camping, but currently only have a small family car & are not able to transport our “usual” camping gear.   Not needing to set up a tent also significantly reduced our set up & pack up time, meaning we had more time to enjoy ourselves.  The location was absolutely beautiful and perfectly located right on the river.” Alison, April 2024
